I need HELP!!!!

I just got my DVX and I was trying to capture video with my DVX 100a and I could not get Premiere to see that my camera was online. Now its stucxk on PAUSE>>>>UUHHHH I can't get it to unpause what am I doing wrong ??
 
Close the capture window and disconnect the camera from the computer. Then try again. Also , before you try to record video click the OPTIONS button in the video capture window a go through the list of camcorders to select the DVX100. One other thing. You can check or un-check the DEVICE CONTROL. That lets you control the DVX manually or have Premier control it.

this happened to me. NEVER PLUG THE FIREWIRE CORD INTO THE CAMERA WHEN THE CAMERA IS ON!!!!!!! it fries the whole port and costs around $1000 to fix. is premiere recognizing your camera at all?
