I Need Fast Help!!!

I'm shooting my first Music video inside a club with C+ to possibly B+ amount
of light. What would be the best settings on my 100B to achieve the best results, with the smallest amount of grain in the picture? This is a HUGE project for me and I want it to look SWeeT! THANX!!!

I've done some rap shows before, if your using 24p you will find that the club lighting will probably not be what you would like it to be. You will likely have to shoot with your gain up on medium or high.

that gain switch is a noise maker. try using a slower shutter speed first. the default is 1/48. take it to 1/24 and you will get twice as much light in there. of course, you want to open the iris all the way. if they have typical stage lights, you should be fine. the dvx works great in low light.

I second the 1/24 shutter as opposed to the gain boost. I've shoot a couple bands in clubs and had no issues with the 1/24 and more often then not the blur if you whip pan looks great and helps in cuts/transitions.

You're right, that's a much better suggestion, the gain up switch shouldbe last resort.
