My name is Ryan Neisz. I shoot solely with the DVX-100. It's my baby! I recently made a silly short film, shot entirely with my DVX, about a couple of guys who hunt down and kill snowmen..."Snowmen Hunters."

On a goof, I entered it into the FX/MySpace comedy competition...and it got Top 20!!! I couldn't believe it either!

Now the Top 20 shorts go to the people's choice. Anyone with a MySpace account can go online and vote on their favorite. They are allowed 1 vote per day for the next 9 days. The winner gets 50K to develope the short into a full fledged pilot.

I'm up against some really heavy hitters on this one. Like Andy Dick who obviously has unlimited resources to shoot on high-end gear. I'm just the little guy with a DVX and a dream!

So I'm asking for your vote. If you are a MySpace member, please visit the link below and vote for SNOWMEN HUNTERS. Tell all your MySpace friends to vote SNOWMEN HUNTERS.

If you aren't a MySpace member, check it out anyway. It's good for a laugh.

Help the indie guys win!!!

You know I tried to enter a short, but the upload button was not working, so I gave up. I'll check it out.

Thanks guys! That's great!
Twocik23 wasn't the submission process murder. I spent three sleepless days and nights trying to upload. Finally, it just worked.

Sorry you didn't make it in. But thanks for the support.

Thanks for the vote and for spreading the word!
Your website is amazing! I'm actually glad you couldn't enter. You would have killed me.

John, why do you think this is stacking? And why do you think this is screwing other contestants?
I'm just trying to rally support from fellow DVX users. This competition is like the American Idol of comedy pilots. Believe me, all the other contestants are out there campaigning as well.

John his stuff is pretty funny, the "Subs" clip was also very funny. lol

"why do you think this is stacking? "

You're stacking, but so are they!

Good luck!

I hate to admit it but Subs was pretty damned great.
There, I'm making two stacks.
Soon we'll have a pile!
