Thanks to ebay, I just got 2 mole-richardson midget lights with barn doors and snoots AND extra lamps AND 4 super heavy duty mathew's type light stands (Norm's is the brand) for $325!!! I didn't bid on ebay but contacted someone who had auctions up and found a production house going out of business in Chicago. I'm also getting a mini-mole tomorrow with barn doors and lamps for $150.

Sorry, I had to gloat. Two weeks ago all I had was a couple of briteks, chinese lanterns, and foam core. Now, after spending less than $600 I also have 5 mole fresnels and some super durable stands. Couldn't be happier. :Drogar-Evil(DBG):

I'd been tempted to buy more Briteks but I'm glad I kept digging around and contacting ebay sellers. Now, I just hope my girlfriend doesn't kick me out of our 1 bedroom apartment that is quickly becoming a storage facility for my equipment.:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
 
Oops, I said 5 mole fresnels. I actually only have 4 now. There are some more on ebay I believe. I know there are some baby solarspots for $199 that look like they're in good shape. Look for the seller from Romeoville, IL. Send him a message asking for free barn doors and I'm pretty sure he'll throw those in too.

And mikko - I don't know what a Matrix switcher or a DA are (yeah, I'm dumb), but $100 is a good deal, eh?
 
They are Video signal routing and processing gear. Yeah $100 is a score :)

Nice work! I love ebay too. If you wait around long enough and feel good about the seller you can get some killer deals. I just picked up a Vinten Vision 5 tripod and head with a carbon mid spreader for 900 bucks! Perfect conditon.

Now to get me some Moles!!!

The one I got the best deals from is project9x. They are liquidating all of their production equipment and it is going fast at great deals. I would contact them directly if there is anything specific you're looking for - they have alot more stuff than is currently on their site. Lots of lighting stuff especially (several Lowel Tota kits I saw that aren't online right now.)

Another guy seems to constantly have Moles in stock at good prices. His id is billscamera1938. Looks like he mostly has Mini Moles and baby solarspots.
 
If anyone is interested billscamera1938 has a lot of 10 mini moles up well 8 now i just bought 2 :) as well as some other mole lights. i emailed him and they come with barn doors and he will pay shipping for one light if you order more than one. pretty good deal IMO.
 
Note that the barn doors are 2 leaf barn doors (from billscamera). I looked at one yesterday - seemed to be in pretty good shape but I decided to pass because I need some other stuff right now.
