Reading in the hmc 150 forum you can find incidents of many brands failing including Panasonic and Lexar. I don't like to use cards larger than 8 gigs so you aren't putting too many eggs in one basket. I now dump my footage to a drive several times a day and before I wrap a location. I had a card play back footage beautifully in camera all day long and then it failed at the end of the day.
I know nothing about SD cards. Which are suited to the AF100?

The good thing about the AF100 over the hmc150 is the dual card, now with two 16 or 8 gig cards you can film for a long long long long long time...... because 16 gigs cards off load pretty fast.
