If you want to shoot something with a gun just make sure you shoot it in the legs to avoid an attempted murder charge.

If you want to shoot something with your video camera then use extensive rack focus, as much DOF as you can muster, and pepper in some emotionless shots of yourself or somebody else... staring out a window... then turn it all black and white in post... except for the final shot of whatever subject you have been shooting... that will dissolve to color just before the credits... Oh and use some crappy classical music over the whole thing... with a filter at 400hz and 4kHz... so it sounds really tinny... some record static/scratches never hurts either... then when you dissolve to color in the last shot... also cross dissolve the audio to full spectrum quality sound.

Funny you should say that. A few weeks ago I had a red Robin flying into my bedroom window.

I had a red robin burger fly through my kitchen a couple weeks ago along with an ipod and rootbeer float.
