Look for it on Court TV in the next 3-4 weeks on wednesday night at 9:30...I convinced them to let me do it on the DVX and switch from Beta...It's on Master Jewel thief Bill Mason...I also just finished "The Box" for Showtime, an 80 minute feature on our little camera as well...It really came out beautiful and it should air soon, although I'll have clips online on http://www.Theodorelederman.com in a few weeks...

love the work :) is any of that shot with dvx?? I doesn't look like it lol. I'm looking forward to see see how did the greatest toy in the world keep up with your previous work. Keep us posted.

Theo... I just think you totaly rock! I mean it, everything I saw was well done. Either on Film or DVX. It is great to see this camera professionaly handeld.

Shalim, Simple Lies, and suffer looks like it.
There was others on his reel clip that I am not sure. My guess, alot of it film.
I wouldnt want to make a for sure... this was my guess.. all are great though. The video Simple lies was totaly awsome... althogh it is not my favorite music.

Shalim and Simple Lies were with the DVX...Suffer was 35mm....Thanks for the compliments guys...I used those 2 endo vids for comparison and to show clients that properly handled, you can even fool the experts ;D Mission accomplished...

I loved the camera work on Shalim. But was there a ton of optional equipment used? You mentioned the matte box that you had for your DVX100 and lighting but what else did you use on that shoot. I figure you used both a dolly and crane for some of the shots that you got. I was just curious what all that it took equipment wise to make the shoot. Also, what NLE is your preference? Thanks for your comments. It is wonderful work.

No crane was used, just a Fischer 11 Dolly and a good rigger...he's used to rigging a 60 lb film camera so this is cake for him...All the long dolly shots were rigged from the dolly on a section of speed rail, and as the lighting goes, I used nothing bigger than a 1200 par; A very limited lighting budget(The DVX needs very little)...As far as the NLE, there's not much you can't do with FCP...I actually owned one of the first Media 100's sold and man we've come a long way in a short time...Considering my first 16 gig drive was 12,000 dollars...Now it's one hell of a paper weight...By the way. just to prove the quality of the DVX, I shot the Endo Simple Lies video, which was on the Daredevil Soundtrack, for a whopping 700 Dollars...On the conference call with Columbia, I could hear the manager for Jane's Addiction saying over and over...That's impossible...How is that possible!?! It's a little thing called "The DVX" my tattoed little friend... ;)

I remember seeing that SIMPLE LIES video back in the day (heh heh back in the day) and thinking OMFG! That is one of the cool DVX moments.

lol can already see the manager pulling his hair for spending thousands on his other videos when job could have been done for as you said "wooping $700" Good job btw.

Just curious, if the band was on the daredevil soundtrack why such a small budget for a music video?? or did I miss anything??

The Band are friends of mine and Columbia was about to dump like 25 bands...Labels are in big trouble...So to try to save the band's deal, and to demo the DVX for the label, the guys paid a few hundred each and I did the rest..It didn't work however...They are really cutting back...Get ready for even less musical integrity. Music videos are great for your reel and give you more artistic freedom than anything else but don't try to make a living at it....

Woow and I was planning on making music videos for living..you just ruinned my dreams..  :'( :'( :'( :'(  :P

Btw how is that possible, I always thought that music videos is good biz to be in. What happened in the past 10 years?? I should have gone out more often to see the world around me.  :D :D
