For what it's worth:

A lot of places closely monitor your inner/outer office AIM communication [my old office did] and emails. Without context that could pan out very very poorly for you.
 
Richard, go to your computer and open up a Word Document and recall 'everything' that you can that went between you.

I use to work in hotel industry and I learned to write all this stuff down and date it. Go back to the first time she sent you a photo, do you remember the day? Describe what happened.

When you showed your wife the photo, describe that.

Put down the dates in which you talked to this woman, when and where.

DOCUMENT it all. Cover your ass. In the end, you'll be glad that you did.
