Not even my kid. Holy sh%$! I feel for parents now, if you are a parent...You have my utmost respect.

Dealing with a teenager who thinks it's cool to have unprotected sex or use borrowed condoms??????????. WTF are kids thinking these days??????? STD's, pregnancy, etc.?

The mother was overwhelmed, and I am her tenant, so I pulled sh$%head aside and we went for a 2 mile walk. Of course, i wasn't using kid terms when I talked. I used graphic terms in discussing STD's and paternity to this 16 y.o. kid."Fuc&*g cover your %*$k if you are going to be with a chick, man, you sleep with her, you are sleeping with everyone she slept with before you." Drew on my pre-Olongapo speeches I used to give to sailors. Only thing missing were the training films.

Personally I wanted to strangle him for some things he did, which brought this convo on.

I DON"T HAVE KIDS FOR A REASON!!!! I SHOULDN'T BE DOING THIS!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Sorry I need to vent.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

How does a kid get to 16 without having that talk?!?!?! Seriously? I don't even think I was 10 when my Dad sat me down and had the talk. Incredibly awkward, but I knew what I needed to know after that, well ahead of time.

As for training films - use google. Show him some STDs. If that doesn't scare some sense into him he's hopeless anyway.

Went looking for the films I showed when I was in and a Corpsman. Nothing, dammit. I wanted the overly graphic ones we showed when I was in. Ones that made you want to refrain from any sexual contact with anything. But I did my best to relate what could happen. I did my best for this kid. Hopefully he got the damn message.

Personally, I wanted run from this. But dammit, this kid was heading down a road I lived through. Couldn't let that happen without saying something.

But Dammit, I DON'T Have kids for a reason. Pesky little rugrats.

LMAO. look on the bright side. It could have been a sandwich bag and a rubber band. hahaha I thought they gave out condoms at school these days, maybe thats just inner city or something. Yeah, kids today have some scary stuff to think about. When I was a kid, crabs was the worry. Nothing a can of raid can't take care of. hahahahah

Could be worse, they could be borrowing used condoms... As for giving the speech, can you still remember the birds and the bees? Just askin... :)

I told my son when he was young. Then I told him when he was of sexual age "how to please a girl" talk, now that was graphic, but he listened. You did the world a favor, and probably saved a girl from this creep. Remember, whatever knowledge you have you need to share it. It's good Kharma, all comes back to you.

Thank god my mom didn't have the " how to please a girl speech with me". I can't think of anything more uncomfortable that I would want to sit through. Now if was was my nextdoor neighbor, (WHO WAS A DOLL) Well then thats a different story. hehehe

....at least with boys you only have to worry about ONE dick.
With daughters you have to worry about them all!

In the near future, the birds and the bees talk will need to be prefaced with, "When I was a kid, there still were birds and bees."

Oh, share it with us? You never know when you might have missed something :)

I have a daughter, so my "how to please a man" speech will be short -- Up, down, repeat.

I also have a daughter. My talk will be like this " So your sure this new carbon fiber chasity belt isn't too uncomfortable ? As we discussed a hundred times before, your husband will get the key on your wedding night" Oh well, I guess im old fashioned when it comes to my daughter. Maybe because im a guy and I know how we think. LIKE DOGS! yeah, yeah,

@ Capt - well, first I talked to him about the wrong amount of pressure... uh, maybe I'll go into details later, lol. Hey, we sat under a tree, didn't face each other. I said what he needed to know. He sat and listened. We've always been able to talk, from his youth. We yell at each other, talk through our disagreements, it's a good relationship.

I speak with my 10 year old son fairly frequently about this subject, especially when watching porn together.

No really, a serious subject matter and the earlier the better. It's something we touch on from time to time as he is starting to have crushes and little girls are chasing him around. Sigh.
