And it went really well! It wasn't my screening, it was a friend of mine who was showing a promotional piece for a local bike event and he asked me to show some of my stuff too. There were only say 20 people but we had the stuff up on a 20 foot screen and we both did our little spcheals aboot our shorts. In all honesty, I;d definetlly say that mine got a better response, mostly because they were more artistic and better made... super stoked :-D!
All in all, I was way pumped up to see my sh*t projected and to actually be watching it with a bunch of people on a big screen. The DVX footage is... drop dead amazing and it holds up insanely well, even with some of it being compressed more then nessicarry. And only one person there had something to say about some of the trails we shot being "sub legal". And everyone here knows he is an asshole about stuff like that.
Is there a point to this thread? mmm, probably not, but i just thought I'd share that.
