We're in the casting process now. I'll also be directing. I would like your opinions on who I should hire to play the antagonist, the psycho.

I can't make a recommendation without reading the script, because casting is about finding the actor who can best play a role...not arbitrarily picking a celebrity from a list.

"the antagonist, the psycho"

Just make a recommendation based on the info you DO have

:)

Funny, I'd go with Michael Biehn because he has the biggest recognition factor out of all of those actors in this genre. At least for me, since I had to look up who C. Thomas Howell and Michael Bowen were, and Judd Nelson always seems more comedy.

So maybe he'd help you with distribution? Or at least I'd be more likely to see a movie with Biehn than with the others.

Uwe Boll would disagree with you there.:cheesy:

He said in an interview actors only need to be recognizable so they can get money to make the movie. And that's how you get the Bloodrayne casting of Michael Madson.

Hmm, just to avoid any Uwe Boll comparisons from the juxtaposition of my previous comment... I also said Biehn fits the genre, and I'm a general fan of his and think he'd do a great job as a psycho antagonist. ;)

I vote for Michael Biehn.. I think he would have the best market value...

But a friend worked on Saving Grace... said he was okay then went off and cussed up a storm over something minor with minors listening in on every word...

C Thomas Howell has been working a lot and most of his films have gotten distribution.

I would maybe call a foreign sales person and just ask which one they think would get you the best deal (although i guess all three are the same ... minus bowen)

Congrats on selling your screen play.
