Good afternoon DVXUser users!

This is a short film that I edited recently for a student film competition at the University of Alabama. It's the story of a little girl and her imaginary friend (I.F.). This was shot entirely on a Canon 5D with Zeiss lenses with a couple of shots done on a T2i.

Take a look and let me know what you think! We've been getting a pretty good response so far. The film was nominated for Best Drama at the local finale, and if we can get enough views then it will go on to the finals in Hollywood.

Thanks, and have a great day!

First of all, War Eagle. :)

As for the film, I liked the concept. The cinematography was nice, I liked that it was kept smooth.

The biggest issue is definitely the acting. When you have lines that are so on point like "dont' leave me like everybody else", it takes a really good actor to make it seem natural. Also there were a few scenes where the audio quality could have been better (for instance when the girl was in bed). I actually wish it had been longer as I think there's a lot of potential there to be explored.

Overall a lot of good potential there, just try to hammer down a few of the issues and you'll be in good shape.

Thanks! I only edited this one so I can't speak for the performances or the script, but thank you for the feedback. I'll definitely keep those things in mind when I'm working on my own projects.

As far as the run time, we were limited to five minutes per the rules of the competition. I felt it could have used more breathing room given how much we crammed in there, but I think we pulled it off fairly well.
