I don't see "THE Cards" Rant

They may be losing a few, but I really don't think they are losing that many customers over it.

First of all, the reason they don't have any cards is because they have so many new customers! :)

Secondly, a 3 month wait to get a free p2 card didn't stop people from buying an hvx and not buying p2 cards... just shooting tape, or live capture, or whatever until their rebate arrived.

There aren't any cards b/c of the hugely increased demand. Period. If you can explain to me how that equates to losing customers, then... well.

Back in the rant,

Just received this new book on P2 for Panasonic telling me how great P2 are and I can just call my broadcast rep, who by the way is loaning out his demo to TV stations just to keep the hope alive.

It is not about cameras or how good any product is, its about big oil and the small guy its about selling something that still needs parts, and don't mention SD you don't by a P2 camera to shoot SD.

We buy cameras to shoot for in my case money and you can't make money if you can't deliver the goods.
