Hey there. I am on my first shoot with the fs7 and have a problem. There is a very useful audio monitor on the camera body that if I could get it to work enable me to hear one of the two channels or their mix. I somehow can't get any sound out of it. The sound is there and I can hear it over headphones but nothing coming out of the box- what am I missing here is it a Sony bug or did I get a unit with a defective speaker?

I get audio from the body speaker on playback from my camera. I have no idea how to turn it up but its there. I didn't even know there was a built in speaker till you mentioned it. I'm used to having a headset plugged in. Hope you get it sorted.

I dont want to open a new thread and it might fit in here... Does anybody know if there is any fast way to adjust the audio output levels for monitoring? Or only possible in the menu? I am working in different environments and always going through the menu just to adjust it is kind of a pain...

Your only shortcut is to make it part of the User Menu. You can then delete the functions you don't want, leaving vol up and vol down as the available options.

I was doubtful, but it ended up being OK for me.

Ben.
