"I Can Live With That..."
a film by Ethan Schaefer

Hey guys, this is my first topic and my first production blog here on DVXUSER. I'm completely stoked for this short script I've recently finished up. I'll be updating periodically here:

Actors:

(David) Christopher Carter

(Liana) Jessie Walsh

Finished?

Finished?

Ok, so i basically gave up on any kind of production journal because it took no time and came out no where near what i wanted. But if you guys could give me some criticism or suggestions that would be fantastic. I know the audio is **** at the dialogue, that problem has been fixed. Let it load its like 20 megs-ish

The songs are nice. The concept is okay. The dialogue was okay.

You just needed to spend more time and do better coverage. Then you'd have a lot more shots to work with.

If you wanted more advice, you should tell us how you cast this picture, what your budget was, etc. More details would help us make suggestions.

Good luck.

Looked okay.
I thought the lighting and colors were pretty good.

The main weaknesses in my mind were:
1. The intro was a bit long.
2. Too many cuts in general. When the couple is sitting on the couch, it would have been more effective as one long shot, or maybe just a few transitions.

Keep filming though, and your movies will continue to get better.

Yah, as for budget, it was about 40 dollars or so for the production of the dolley.
if that helps to justify most of the poor aspects of this.
