Hell yes Max with the RAW wisdom. His idea of "reality tunnels" is also something that is pretty darn relevant to this topic.

I need to reread that section of Prometheus Rising, then I'll report back to the forum.

Same here, although I have to regretfully admit I haven't read very much of his stuff as I should have. Since I didn't really do the whole New Year's resolution for this year, I guess reading more Robert Anton Wilson will have to be a belated one.

Where is zerg? He would probably dig RAW's stuff.

Absolutely not.

You have to draw the line somewhere. I've turned down work doing stuff I don't agree with. You have a responsibility as an image maker and story teller. Corporate media/consumerism/advertising/materialism is ((IHMO)) rotting this world from the inside out. It is polluting psyches and warping psyches. Period. Knowing this and changing yourself from the inside is the best solution. Then spread the word through your words and actions. You can't change the world... but you CAN change yourself. And if enough people change themselves, then the world changes.

On the optimistic note, I see a lot of positive change. I think people are getting hip to the idea of buy local, buy organic, support small indep. businesses, etc. Just takes time.
