for weddings you certainly need something faster than a stock lens. I just shot a wedding with GH1. I had the stock lens and Canon 50mm 1.8. The 50mm gave me a problem of not being wide enough but great light, but the stock one was just no go even wide open at ISO800. Fortunately I had a second shooter with HMC150.
