I am stumped! GH 4 licked in MF

I am using a GH4 alongside my DVX200 and ut is locked in manual focus.

I am using a Olympus 12-40mm f2.8 on it. There is a K-FN button on the lense that has a default function of locking focus at a certain distance that may be the culprit but remiving the lens did not reset anything. Still locked. The focus switch on the GH4 has no effect.

Igave been through the menus and resorted to a reset in the menu-no change.

any thoughts?

Check your video settings and frame rate settings. I've read AF does not function in variable frame rates.
