Yeah, I know that in most cases it won't matter. And, as I suggested earlier in the thread before I even realized I had the problem myself, overwriting that line with a black line will make it an even smaller problem. But I'd still like to know what's up. Especially, heaven forbid, if this is just the tip of the iceberg...
