I am an F3 newbie and can't remove the PL mount...

Hi people,

I just got my F3 w/MTF nikon adapter.
I am trying to remove the camera's PL mount in order to accomodate the MTF. Is there a special way to unlatch it or should I just turn it (which way)? I have tried just turning (both ways) with reasonable force and it doesnt move. I dont want to damage anything.

forget my post. I figured it out.
I was trying to turn the whole mount, rather than the body mount ring alone.

I'd highly recommend getting Doug Jensen's Vortex Media Guide for the F3. It's money well spent and will help you quickly get a handle on a lot of the controls and settings on the F3.

I'll second that. Doug's videos are well worth the money and much easier than just reading the manual.
