I have the shuttle and have been using the crucial M4 256gb drives. I haven't had a lot of time to play with it but it has seemed solid. I just installed S-Log onto my camera and noticed that my shuttle is dropping frames now. I happened to glance back and saw that the SSD light was off, and the red record light was flashing quickly (the drive is no where near full, I was about 5 minutes into the drive), then the SSD light would come back on and resume writing. I THOUGHT the 256 was supported, but upon further research noticed of the M4's the 512 is the only one BM lists as supported. I figured they were the same read/write speed so I should have been OK.
has anyone run into this problem? is it just an unsupported drive?
