It's impossible to say what the brand of the light was, no more than you can say what microphone was used once it's gone through post. Something like this is usually done with fresnel light, so look into tungsten fresnel (not open face). There's a ton of brand like Arri, Cool Light, Lowel, Britek etc.

And it's official, no thread started by TommieGreen has ever gone without an argument.

Okay, another question. I'm doin g research on Fresnel lights and gels and I want to know do all Fresnel lights come with a spot to slide Gels into? If so, what's THAT called? Or do you just tape the Gels over the light? Or would that burn the gels?

Maybe hire a lighting tech to light the video for you? If you can't afford a decent (or even less than decent) Gaffer then you surely can't afford the lights that Hype uses.
He would have had a light / grip crew of at least a dozen guys, with 5 ton or more truck full of lights / stands / gel.
