I have serious audio problems with my HVX201 here: I am shooting a long interview and the clips are spanned always in 00.09.53.09 long segments and at the end of almost ALL these files the audio is REPEATED for the last .09 frames!!! This means the audio in those 9 frames IS MISSING!!
I am getting an echo of the "last word" and the next word is MISSING! I have this in almost all files here!!!

see how the audio waveform in the last 9 frames is repeated twice?

The cards are mixed old type and new type cards, could that be the problem? Firmware is latest
Unfortunately I did not make naked backups of the cards so now I have a serious problem!
Has anybody heard of this before? It never happened to me before, only after I did the last snow leo update maybe?

Here another bigger screenshot to show whats happening:

see how in the adjacent clip the missing audio is cut off....this is a major disaster and a reason to seriously drop P2 !!!

How can this happen ? I am curious to hear what panasonic says....

the cards were logged and have been used to record more stuff since then. In over 2 years of using P2 this never happened before so I had stopped doing double backups.....lesson learned:-(
no more relogging possible, I have to live with this and stop trusting P2.....I am curious if anybody has ever heard of this? This is a first time for me...

OK after some testing I can now say this: if I use my 32 GB E-series card in slot 1 and my 16 GB R-series card in slot 2 I can repeat this problem!!
If I use both R-series cards NO problem
If I use only the E-series NO problem
But if I mix them= PROBLEM!
Panasonic, have you ever heard of this? and if not where can I escalate this to? I think this is an issue that should be known and fixed.

thanks to all the helpful posts from the forum members! I solved the problem but since nobody is interested I wont post the solution!

I'm just curious if HPX170 will act the same way, if E & R cards are inserted at the same time.
