HVX200A LCD Screen won't turn on

When i start the camera up I can see some faint lines but I think it always did that. All the buttons on the assembly work and I can see fine through the Viewfinder. I used it this afternoon and it was fine and now it's not. It hasn't been dropped, shaken, or anything like that.

Strange well it works when it is flipped upside down and closed but the second I flip it right side up it goes black.
