Hvx200a & hvx202a

Hi!

I googled the web and I haven't figured it out. I found these two alternative where the 202 cost 4,820$ and the 200 cost 5,030$. My question is then, what is the difference between these two cameras that makes the 200 cost 200$ more?

200 is the USA version. 202EN is the Asia/Pacific version. Same features, but one is NTSC, the other is PAL, and the price difference is probably attributed to currency exchange rates.

I find that strange when the website claimed both was PAL.

I live in sweden so I need a PAL version, and when I see both are PAL and there looks like no different what so ever, I get a little confused. And they are on the same website.

Ah, yes, the 200 in Europe is the 200E. All other models they've introduced recently are with a "1" suffix, so HMC151E, HPX301E, HMC41E. But with the HVX, they have the HVX200A (in USA), HVX200AE (Europe), and HVX202EN (southeast Asia).

The only difference between them is going to be where your warranty is honored. If you go with a 202EN, you'll have no warranty coverage in Europe.
