hvx200a/hpx170 Opinion

Technically the hvx200a or hpx170 for a feature is fine to me. To get the cinematic look with and without a rig which camera would be your opinionated choice.

I own the 170. No reason to buy the 200A unless you need to shoot tape. If not, the 170 has several features that make it superior to the 200A.

Thank you for the link an time, greatly appreciated. Can you inter cut hvx200a footage with hpx170 footage that are on the same set, same settings together seamlessly, or does one look more cinematic then the other?

You can make those two look basically identical. You cannot, however, just set them on the same settings and expect it to make them look identical, you have to tweak the settings to get them to match.
