HVX200a / HPX170 Lens adapter compatibility

[jbw]

Hello all. Long time lurker, first time poster.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the HPX170 would be compatible with existing HVX lens adapters (ie. Letus35 Extreme)

The HVX has a 82mm thread and the HPX a 72mm, so would a different thread kit be the only thing needed for compatibility?

I'm wondering the same. I'm starting to lean towards the HPX170 now, but i'm wondering if there will be an compatible adapter available right away, or if we have to wait for one to be made.
