HVX200A 1080i formats all the same in P2 is Barry Green wrong or is my HVX messed up?

So I was reading pg 13 of Barry Green's HVX Book and he states that clips that are 1080/30p and 1080/60i recorded on the same P2 card will be unable to play back together without going back into the RECORDING SETUP menu for each one. On my camera this is just not the case. All clips recorded in 1080i 30p/24p/24pa will play back together on the P2 card without going back into the RECORDING menu to change the mode. However, as I scan through the 1080i thumbnails I do see the frame rate that they were captured in change at the bottom of the P2 thumbnail screen.

Is this the same on anyone else's HVX200A?
