Do I really need HVX200 ? I'm upgrading from GS400, my concern is that the DVX100 is about three years old now .
HD is the future yet , P2 workflow is hard/costly to manage compare to tape.
My intention is SD documentaries/interviews shooting.

Get a DVX. The image is still incredible, even if it's not HD. And if you're intention is to shoot SD documentaries then you're way better off spending your money on the DVX and using the extra money you would have spent on an HVX on audio gear.

Makes sense, I wonder if the Rode mic and the 72mm hood I use for the GS-400 will fit the DVX100 ?
35mm adapter is my next gear SgPro is very interested adapter that could be consider

Get the DVX, but it sounds like you are putting the cart before the horse a little with regards to a 35mm adapter. They require light and a fair amount of support equipment to be used to their full potential/easily.

For instance, I wouldn't even think about one until you upgrade your mic and (I'm guessing here) your tripod...

It looks like the tripod will work for you. You'll probably want to pick up an XLR mic of some sort, though.
