HVX200 won't turn on. HELP!!

Leaving in 12 hours for Pakistan. Sitting at my table with my HVX on. Left the room and it turned off automatically. I rewired a cable for an Anton Bauer battery, plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on. Could I have reversed the polarity? Would that burn something out? It will not turn on with any battery, or AC power.

Any ideas? I am screwed unless I can figure this out.

I have a Anton Bauer battery with a way too short cable. I ordered a long one from B+H, but then realized the plugs were the wrong shape. So I put the connectors from the short cable onto the long cable. Simple process. Maybe i could have gotten the polarity switched, but I can't imagine that turning it on for just a second would fry the whole camera right? Is there a fuse in the camera?

I also switched it around and tried it that way after finding that non of my other batteries would work either.

I've now established that i did have the polarity reversed on my Anton bauer. Stupid mistake. i think i blew the internal fuse. anyone know a good rep[air place near San Frncisco airport. I have a layover there.

I know there is one close to LA but i doubt they can fix it that fast unless your there for a couple days. Maybe if they give you a loner while they fix yours. I heard they do that sometimes. It might only be for warranty repairs.

Best advice is to spend your time trying to find another camera to use/borrow because thats the only way your situation is going to work. Thats why I own two cameras (not both HVX's).
