HVX200 with Letus Extreme adapter and 8gb P2

Hi everyone, I'm contemplating selling my HVX and going for a stripped down package with a DSLR - I'm not 100% committed to this path yet, but I wanted to see what sort of price this package might fetch.

It's a two year old very well cared for HVX200 (P2 usage mostly, maybe 1-2 hours of miniDV use) with 3 batteries (one panasonic, the other two are spec-comm) - There are zero issues with the camera and it was used only rarely (one of the reasons I'm thinking about selling it) - no scratches or scruffs or anything like that. It also comes with an 8gb P2 card and a hard pelican case.

Also with the HVX is my Letus Extreme adapter (used only once on a three day shoot) - in perfect condition and working properly. No lenses included as I use those for my 35mm SLR. The Letus will also come with my indierails package that I used to attach the unit to the HVX.

So that's it - if I do end up selling it, what sort of price should I be after?

here is what I would think:
HVX w/ accessories: $3500ish
Letus w/ rails: $1250ish (unless it has the optimized achromat for the HVX and then you could probably get about $150 more than that).
So I guess $5000 for everything would not be a bad starting price but be prepared for lower offers... Just my two cents.
 
I have been following Ebay prices on HVX packages recently, and I think your package would probably sell for about $2600-$2700 on Ebay. Sometimes a bit less, sometimes a bit more because of natural selling price fluctuations. Note a brand new HVX200A (HVX205A) with some extra accessories sells for $3100 on Ebay. Now that is the newer and better version not the older HVX200.
 
I've got a similar package (remarkably similar, actually) that I've been considering selling as well, so I'd like to ask a similar question. Would it be a better idea to sell the whole thing together as a unit, or separate the camera/Pelican from the Letus and sell them piecemeal?
 
i sold a letus extreme w/ V2 rods, nikon mount, 2 lens, and case (basically the starter bundle plus 2 nikon lenses) for $1300...
