I know I read this somewhere but I cannot find it. I have searched long and hard but now my eyes are beginning to blur. what would be the best settings to use for making my hvx200 look like a dvx100. I just purchased the hvx and am still becoming familiar with it and a short film I am working on wants to use two cameras this weekend due to short amount of time at a location and I was wondering if you kind gentlemen could point me in the right direction. Thank you so much.

found it ... never mind...

Barry Green Said "They will look pretty close if you take a little time to A/B them on a monitor (hook both up to a monitor with two inputs, then toggle the inputs so you can see the image differences and compensate through the menus).

As a rough guide, if you set both of 'em to exactly the same settings, did a manual white balance on each, and then adjusted the master pedestal of the DVX to be darker than the HVX, they should get in the ballpark. I used -4 on the HVX and -8 on the DVX and I seem to recall that that's about all I had to do to get them to match."

closing one eye helped. found it right away.
