Hey guys,

Here's a quick side-by-side for you. First, the HVX200 is awesome and looks better to me than 35mm film did on this shoot! The HVX200 grab isn't full resolution, but is straight off the camera, no Color Correction. Just "regular processing". Looks fantastic. For this music video I directed and photographed for Erin Lizardo, it's interesting to note that the "veil" material that she used (outfit made by Erin) comes out pretty much the same in each shot. At full resolution you can tell that it is woven. Color and gamma are way different in these two images, as you would expect. But I was able to get more adjustability out of the HVX200 footage because it was lower contrast.

I shot 35mm still photo sequences during a few takes, right alongside the HVX. We planned to use them in the music video. The film was processed at Costco and digitized for a CD.
