We are having a timecode problem with footage shot on our HVX200. We recorded 1080/60i onto three 16-gb P2 cards, changing cards during breaks in interviews. Files were transferred via a laptop from the P2 cards onto an external 500-gb hard drive. After editing the clips in Avid Adrenaline directly from the hard drive, we discovered that, every 4 minutes 55 seconds and one frame, the timecode jumps back 4:55:01. This happens on every clip, regardless of clip length. There is no visible jump or blip in the footage at the point of each timecode shift. Has anyone encountered any similar time code problems with P2 footage?
