I sold my HVX200 last month and the new owners, CafeFX, had it and accessories stolen this week on the set of the movie "Love Ranch" in New Mexico.

The serial number is D6TC00381. Century wide angle adapter #119775

I will be watching e-bay and Craigs list of course, but I'd appreciate it if you folks could keep an eye open as well...

These guys are my friends and I want to go to bat for them in any way possible...

Contact me or Bernardo Rodriquez with any information at;

Thanks...

Thanks, nope not that one, wrong collection of accessories... if we were only so lucky...

It was either crew or a guest of the production, and was stolen feet away from an on set security guard. Popped it right off the tripod and vanished with the camera bag with all the goodies in it.

Didn't get the data, which was on my old trusty USB-TO-GO drive at the time...

That really sucks. Here's where I'll forward producers who don't understand what I'd need an AC for.

Sad.

In case you didn't know, you can set up Ebay so it will alert you via email everytime an HVX is up for sale. I wonder if it helps to let Panasonic know so they can make a notation in their registration database.

Meanwhile the new owners should file a police report and see if they can claim it on insurance. But best would be to get it back from the thieves. Kind of odd, stealing the bag. Must not have been planned or they would have brought their own bag.
