HVX200+SGpro r2 + Zeiss - PART2

Dude, that is SHARP.
Seriously, I'm soon gonna put a new meaning to the concept of going postal
if the post service don't stop screwing around, they have been hogging my Sgpro
for 10 days now.

gotta hand it to this adapter - the thing is sharp. very impressed. hope you guys don't mind (wayne) but I was just muckin about with your stills in after effects jjust to look at sharpness etc and did a little CC. It's sharp as a tack with very little chrom ab. Well done to the guys at SGPro -

as a sharpness nazi, i'm very impressed. Hope this thing isn't too big - lemmie know if it is and i'll reduce.

My name is Theodoros, not Wayne :) Ofcourse there's no problem. I've uploaded these stills to everyone who wants to see the uncc'ed grabs and practise him/herself in post.

Oop, sorry - Theodoros - I just assumed you were the SGPro guy. Apols.

Still - the thing seems very sharp - have you any other stills or footage? Do you find there are any artifacts with the unit? Whats the light loss like?

Thanks

James

Ofcourse, there is no problem jamestmather.

The other clips i've posted with my hvx+SGpro r.2 setup:

No i can't find any artifacts with SGpro r.2. As for the light loss, it's better to ask Wayne Kinney (the designer of the SGpro). As far as i know, SGpro is one of the best adapters in light loss category.

Feel free to ask whatever you want. I'll be happy if i can help,

Hiya,

Great stuff Theo ! I've gotta get my hands on these lenses 6 months from now.

I think Wayne told me before that light loss for the SGPRO was around 0.7 of a stop so its pretty good. Gonna shoot first footage this holiday so I'll see how the SGPRO works out for me.

I went for the Varizoom for framing for now [will get a marshall when I can afford it but not for a while].

Thanks
