HVX200 Servo Zoom Problem...any thoughts?

The servo zoom on our HVX is jacked up somehow. I'm not sure what happened to it as it was before my time but the rocker on the right hand side feels loose and shakes around. The one on the top handle feels fine but neither rocker will zoom. Luckily, the manual zoom works just fine but we'd like to get it fixed. I'd really like to get an idea of what exactly is wrong with it so if anyone has any insight it would be appreciated.

And yes, I made sure each was in its proper mode first.

hmm, i have had bizarre zoom issues myself. i had my camera serviced once when it was almost brand new because the servo would zoom all the way in or out if touched at all. now a year later i am experiencing the same problem . . .
