HVX200 Sennheiser ME66/K6 question

I just picked up a Sennheiser ME66/K6 mic for my HVX200 and am wondering what type of short XLR cable will I need to be able to connect it when mounting it on the camera, obviously I need a male end for the HVX. Do I need an adapter for the K6? I just want to be able to use it for a small project then later buy a boom, shock mount, etc...
 
I have the same mic and use a short cable that has a right andle XLR on the end that plugs into the mic and a straight Neutek SLR connector on the end that plugs into the camera. The cable is about 12" long. The only caution is that the orientation of the right angle plug may need to be rotated to allow the on/off switch to be in the up position when the cable from the plug is pointing down. This cable came with my mic, but I have also purchased similar short cables from B&H.
