HVX200 Scene File Settings

Hey All,

I am recently a proud owner of an HVX200! Yay! I used to work with the DVX100 and had my settings the way I liked them. So, of course, when I purchased the HVX200 I set up the scene file the same way. But it looks a little different.

My question to (anyone who's reading) is - how should I set up this camera in terms of scene file? I mean to get the best possible picture and color quality out of the HVX.

(In writing this I stumbled upon this: http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/sd_scene_select.asp)

I think it may have answered my question but in any event any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean

Those scene files are for the SDX900.

I would also suggesting getting a copy of Barry's book. It goes into detail about setting up the HVX200 and includes a number of scene file settings to get you started.

well for those of us who are broke after spending around 7k on our HVX package, can anyone recommend scene files?

This has been asked numerous times, and it never goes anywhere. The reason is that it makes no sense to supply scene files without knowing what you will be shooting. And even then your artistic vision has a lot to do with what appeals to you. You're best off playing with the camera and experimenting.
