HVX200 Question

This past Saturday I shot a short with the newly purchased HVX200p, and wanted to shoot in HD with some HD Tapes I purchased. I couldn't figure out how to switch to that HD mode so it can record using Tape rather than the P2 Card. I couldn't figure it out so eventually shot the short using the P2 card.

Could someone tell me how to set the camera to shoot HD onto Tape rather than the P2 card?

It only shoots HD on p2 cards

Damn! was concerned about that.

so the 8Gs is only good for 20minutes?

If you have 2 16 gig cards you will never have a problem. You can off load one card while shooting on the other

I only have an 8G card. Can I transfer the files onto a Terabyte so to release space on the P2 Card? during shoots?

Yes.. you can either use the camera or with a laptop with a PCMCIA cardbus. Eventually you'll want to get 2 so you can continue to shoot. It was a pain when I just had one...
