HVX200 purchase plan ?'s

I hope I'm not being too childish on this forum but anyway.

How are you saving up for your HVX200?

for me, I just sold my Canon 20D dslr and got ride of my 4FT 4Banks Kino few days ago. Right now I just put up my Toyota 4Runner Limited 97' 80k mile up for Sale. let's hope i'm not being too crazy.

At what point are you going to purchase the HVX200?

I'll wait after I see the actual footage and hands on the camera.

Are you going to get just the camera 6k or the 10K P2 package?

I'm going to get the 10K$ package because of mobility. I think the longest firewire cord is 10ft if I were going to do a direct capture HD to my laptop. With P2 card I'll be able to set my laptop at one place and have freedom to move my cam around easily. :happy: :happy: :laugh:

I wouldn't sell too much until we see a working camera. Very dedicated though!

I'm going to sell off my DVX and all the after market 72mm lens attachments.

Of course I'm just going to get the camera and then start saving up for the P2 cards.

It's a long road ahead.
