HVX200 PC workflow.

Hey everyone, I'm a film student finally ready to buy a camera and i found a great deal on a HVX200. My question in this:

Whats the workflow like with an HVX200 w/ 64GB p2 card edited on Premiere Pro CS4. My PC is a powerful gaming desktop, however i don't have a laptop ATM so dumping footage would be slightly difficult. Approx. how much recording time can i get on a 64GB card? Should my next investment be another p2 card or laptop computer? (lense adapter is on the list too)

Thanks in advance!

Depends on what mode you shoot in. If you're shooting 720/24pN you can get almost 3 hours of footage on that card.

As for editing -- plug the camera into the computer via USB, and drag the files from the card onto the timeline. Done.

Depends on your workflow. If you need immediate access to the footage, there's no NEED to copy it to the hard drive first, but most people do because they want to free up the card to be able to use it again sooner.
