I think you will have problems with fluorescent light. Europe pal is 50hz and NTSC is 60hz.

Think you are right,
hard to get the pal right now,
so i think it will take at least a couple of month till they sell it in the states.
From what i know, people here are still waiting for their order, wasnt enough in the first shipped batch...!

THAT is a matter of SHUTTER speed, not frame rate. Just change the PAL cam to 1/60 in 60Hz countries, or your NTSC cam to 1/50 in 50Hz countries.

B&H might have the HVX200 PAL cam sometime in the future, but expect to pay FULL retail price for it when they do: i.e. $5995.00 USD.
I've got a Pal HVX with 2x 8gb P2 cards + P2 store. Currently got the M2 on order too, can't wait 
For the record got the HVX a few days after European launch, and the cards (after some extensive searching - thanks H Preston) a week later. P2 store took 2 weeks after the cards arrived.

Well, I'm selling my HVX 200 PAL on Ebay.
For any PAL area member who could be interested:
I'm selling my brand new Panasonic AG-HVX 200 (PAL version), with 2 P2 memory cards 8Gb each, and 3 batteries.
It's listed on Ebay, object number 9736160681
I've bought this camera a week ago, and just tested it in my studio. It's under full warranty from Panasonic (It was bought at a Panasonic dealer in Rome, and warranty is valid al over the world) and comes with a regular invoice (20% VAT must be added to the final price by Italian buyers, no VAT for foreign buyers).
Why do I sell? This is a fabulous camera under any perspective, but I already own a Sony Z1 with accessories that wouldn't fit the 82mm. lens of the HVX, so I cannot afford keeping both cameras :crybaby:
The camera ships from Rome, Italy. Local pick-up is possible, and preferred.
