some guy was selling it on gum tree ., didnt know the great piece of equipment that he was selling .. all that was missing was a battery and charger.. and orderd a p2 card for £520 16gb so all in all a great deal . works a treat.

Is that legit? I'd be very wary about buying something at that price....It could end up burning your fingers (handling stolen goods). Have you checked the serial numbers out with Panasonic.

There's probably a reason he didn't know what great piece of kit he was selling because he's probably nicked it from someone who does know what it was and is now having to pick up the pieces of being turned over and no battery or charger.....Come on, who are you kidding. Your telling me this guy was Koscher.

The next thing you'll be telling me was that you met in a public place and not at his house to make the deal happen.

Crime doesn't normally pay but in this instance I think it may well have. £850 to fund a drug habit, brilliant.
 
You are totally right check the serial number with panasonic. There may be someone really pissed when they stole his/her camera. And your help would be really apreciated.
 
first thing i done .. its not stolen .. it was the property of a community center the guy who ran the center was the one selling it .. all checked out .. i wouldnt take it otherwize.
