HVX200 P2 frame rate import error (in Final Cut Pro)

Hello,

I have an intermittent problem (I won't say error because it could be user induced) with my AG-HVX200P

The scenario:
* I record many takes all in the base frame rate of 24pn on two 4GB P2 cards.
* All clips play back correctly when viewed on the camera in playback mode.
* I copy the complete P2 card contents onto my MacBook Pro hard drive using a cardbus "Duel Adapter"
* I import the clips into Final Cut Pro using the log and transfer P2 import function.
* Most of the clips import and playback correctly in Final Cut Pro.
* A few of the clips (and not the ones that span two cards) import with the wrong frame rate. When I look at the clip properties the frame rate will be strange, unsupported values such as 16.33 or 13.91. The audio plays back in Final Cut Pro correctly.
* I have tried re-importing the clips after rebooting and/or recopying the files from the P2 cards to my hard drive, but still get the strange values.
* I have also tried importing the P2 card contents into other Apple computers running various versions of the operating system and Final Cut Pro. I still get the same problems on the same clips. My system has MacOS 10.4.11 and Final Cut Studio 6.0.6.

* Is this a known problem?
* What can I do to fix it?
* When I was in Singapore the Panasonic dealer tried to help me, but they suggested it was a Final Cut problem even though different versions of Final Cut showed the errors.

Thanks in advance,
JEB

Very strange. When you say copy via Dual Adaptor, is the card write protected? Do use an error checking method of copying such as P2CMS? If you bring the offending clip into Cinema Tools and conform it to the right frame rate, does is correct of worsen the clip?
