HVX200 or HVX200A BROKEN camera wanted. I know, this is a shot in dark, but if your camera is a complete doorstop, sell it to me. For upper parts repair of a friend's HVX200. I know of the Panasonic site to buy the parts, but am trying this avenue too. PM me if you have a complete 'brick-camera'.

Thanks! :engel017: -Gary

In fact I have one. I have a HVX 200 that was in perfect working order. "Was" is the key phrase. A cat peed in a pelican case, not on the camera, and then I locked the camera in the case without knowing. I week later I took the camera out without it fully functioning (powers up, LCD works, etc). Panasonic looked at it and said the electronics are oxidized. Glass is pristine. Body is near perfect. No scratches. Matte box is perfect(there is velcro on it). LCD and viewfinder functions, both show through menu. No image though, as I am assuming the CCDs were effected. Bottom of camera shows wear, but no cracks like you see in some bodies. Let me know what else you need to know. I have an offer on it, but I just caught this.

Damn Prairieboy, that sucks. Hopefully you make a good sale :)

Sorry for clutter free bump.

Still looking. Man, knowing how hard people work to get their HVX200 and HVX200A cameras, it is sad to hear these stories.

Still, I need a cheapo dead brick for parts. I don't care if the whole front is caved in and the unit is gutted, I really need the top plastic and plastic around the eyepiece hinge. Any 'paperweight' will be welcome!
