HVX200 Music Video on MTV2

I just directed and shot a music video that played on MTV2 and BET in the last two weeks. Shot with an HVX200 + Redrock Encore, Edited on Sony Vegas 8. And to think, just a few years ago, most of the videos were film.

The performance scenes are all 720/24pn and the story scenes are either time lapse 1F/S or 60frames slow motion.

I did all of the editing, masking and color correction on the same Sony Vegas timeline without any other programs.

Cool shot at 1:06 the sky is moving in time lapse while the 2 guys are moving forward and one man is moving backward (it seems he did it himself). How did you compose it ? Did you use a green screen ?
My gear is still a simple miniDV and H4 for audio. Still planning to big jump probably to the VDSLR .... :)
 
great video...lovely colors..love the timelapse too...good to finally find a music video playing on MTV edited and graded on vegas!!
