HVX200 Lowest UK Price

Hi Guys

Just spotted another 1st from the UK (I think) The people that I bought my HVX from iFrame Media are now advetising it at Trade price.

I complained that I paid £200 more than this just a couple of months ago and they refunded me the difference.

This is why these guys are the best in my opinion. They seem to want to do anything to keep the customers happy even if it means loosing out themselves.

check it out at http://www.iframemediashop.com

Just to also let you guys know I have tried out the cineform plugin with Premiere Pro2 and it works a treat. No need for an expensive edit system now to edit HD.

GlobalMediaPro

GlobalMediaPro

Price: GBP 2,960.00

These guys are totally above board....all goods are shipped from London - i have one return and they have been dealt with very quickly!

Didnt buy my HVX from there though - needed the years interest free credit :)

Also just to let you know - iframe cant be selling them at trade prices - if they were you would be looking at around £1800 each for the HVX200s.

Yes of course, the second I pay full price the cost plummets, I daresay they'll be selling 'em three for a grand by next month...

I thought people had agreed that GlobalMediaPro was a hoax? There's no way they can sell legit HVXs that cheap!

I'm affiliated with a university and they purchased around 15 XL2's of which all were legit. They are imported but they make money by charging the Import Duties at the checkout and by not wanting to make loads of profit on each bit of kit sold.

The trade price is something around £1800 like mentioned above so they are still making £1000+ of each camera.

Sorry if this has brought up an already discussed topic (globalmedia), I am new to these boards so not sure what has been covered :)

It doesn't include VAT, nor duties ( it's about 5% in France, I don't know for UK)

I've baught some GMP batteries few months ago for my DSR 370, without problems... but concerning the HVX, what about the warranty?

It concerns me greatly that a company such as this doen't except Credit Cards..... wonder if their scared of the consumer protection available to CC users i.e. Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act or that the CC companies have refused them clearence for CC payments

Its Fishy just very fishy!

Indy....

Interesting.... the DVX and DVXa price stayed pretty much stable for a long time after launch. The HVX has seen meaningful discounts available even over its short life since UK launch in March.

Anyone care to speculate on the 'floor' price of the HVX i.e. where the price will stablise?

Indy.....

How come they have the bags and batts ?
It says "Only 70 Free Bags and Batteries left for every purchase of the HVX200." on their website.
