Hi there, and thanks for a great place for information on all things hvx200/ex1
Im shooting a mvid with ps mini35 and zeiss lenses next tuesday. Were thinking doing some slowmo lipsync, and I started reading up on HVX200 and the 720PN mode.
Is it true that 32 fps, is in reality 32.325 fps (or something like that), thus creating a complete chaos in the sync? If so, were can I get the TRUE framespeed?
And, when that is settled, what is the correct way for figuring out speed changes. I thought that if I shot at 32 fps, I should speed the song up 28%, since the increase from 25 to 32 is 28%. I read somewere at the DVX part of this forum that the correct math would be 100/.72 = 138.888889, that means a hefty 38.8% increase. (100-28=78)
What is the correct math?
Thanks for any help!
Regards
Håvar
