I recently bought the HVX200 camera and it didn't come with the lens hood cap ( prod. code - VGQ8820).

I know that there are a good few US based sites selling the cap for around $50 - 80 but I'm based in the UK and the couple of sites that do ship here are charging close to $200 for shipping.

Does anyone know where I can get this cap in the UK, I can't find any site that has the part?

Cheers

I've got a lens cap and no 200 camera now... you can have it for $40 inc shipping... but I'll need to send it from Oz...

Lez, that sounds like a possibility, let me get back to you soon.

Just out of curiosity, how is the condition of the lens cap? and where in Oz are you?

Cheers

Thanks for asking around, appreciate it. I honestly can't figure out why it costs so much either but I guess I should pick one up at some point.
